Animal Care Specialist

Deliver exceptional animal care and support to ensure the health and well-being of our animals. As an Animal Technician, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care to maintain animals in a healthy state.
Main Responsibilities:- Care for animals by feeding, watering, and cleaning cages.
- Monitor animal health and identify any potential issues.
- Manage breeding pairs under supervision and prepare animals for transport to other facilities.
- Collect samples for genotyping and health monitoring purposes.
- Maintain accurate records using our online system.
- Demonstrate commitment to animal welfare and care.
- Possess strong observational skills and excellent communication abilities.
- Show reliability, patience, trustworthiness, and adaptability.
- Be capable of working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and adhere to safety protocols.
- Comply with quality assurance programs, animal ethics, and quarantine procedures.
- Hold your own transportation and be available to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
