About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Supervisor to join our team at Avature. As a Commissioning Supervisor, you will play a critical role in the successful delivery of key resource projects in Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple work fronts at any one time, ensuring effective man and material management.
  • Safely and successfully manage contractors on site to meet project schedules and milestones.
  • Plan and schedule commissioning activities with respect to subsystem/system priority.
  • Prepare and complete commissioning test packs, ITPs, and ITRs.
  • Supervise a team of at least 10 trades during the commissioning stage.
  • Work as part of a team involved in construction and commissioning works at various sites from energization to process commissioning stage.
  • Demonstrate a high level of personal commitment to safety and follow standard work practices.
  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and replacement of fixed plant equipment, including rotating and stationary equipment.
  • Liaise with inter-departmental supervisors to provide direction and support to workers to achieve targets and deadlines.
  • Undertake safety and hazard assessments and ensure employees comply with OHS requirements.
  • Interpret complex drawings, diagrams, and specifications and determine suitable materials.
  • Conduct inspections and investigations of equipment to rectify issues and failures.
  • Carry out shift cover duties at different stages of commissioning as required.
  • Prepare and maintain commissioning records of site observations, testing processes, and checklists.
  • Prepare and maintain daily shift commissioning activity progress reports.
Requirements
  • At least 3+ years of broad-ranging experience in gas processing plant (desirable) with skills in planning, workforce management, and field commissioning.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in trade skills, computer skills, and familiarity with relevant completion software applications.
  • Strong analytical skills, including troubleshooting and process evaluation.
  • Excellent communication skills, including collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and provision of clear technical advice.
  • Ability to work well with others, including coordination with in-house or consultant studies and engagement in discussions.
  • Adaptability in responding to diverse demands and frequently changing priorities.
  • Current driver's license and Construction Induction – OHS White Card.
  • Strong perception and implementation of HSE.
