Job Opportunity

We are seeking a senior Sustainability professional to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of MSCI ESG Research, you will play a critical role in analyzing and assessing Sustainability trends in the ANZ market and mining sector.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Publish quality research content on emerging Sustainability issues in Australia, providing actionable insights on companies and industries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative analytical models that reflect regional specifics.
  • Represent MSCI as a credible thought leader at conferences, events, and client meetings, sharing our expertise on Sustainability research.
  • Engage with local media and regulators to promote MSCI's Sustainability research and thought leadership.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 7+ years of professional experience in investment research, financial services, consulting, or industry experience.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience in data analysis and modeling.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in an accessible way.
  • Demonstrated interest in integrating Sustainability and climate issues into investment decisions.
  • Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree or industry accreditation preferred.
