Role Overview

The Support Worker position focuses on providing care and support to individuals with disabilities.

About The Position

This is a dynamic role within our Childrens Services team, located in Ipswich. You will work closely with the Service Leader to deliver high-quality care and support.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care within a residential setting, ensuring a safe environment.
  • Support young people with complex needs and challenging behaviours within a trauma-informed framework.
Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential Care) or equivalent qualification.
  • Australian full driver's licence for the state of Queensland.
  • Australian working rights.
  • Willingness to complete a Personal Screening Check.
  • Hold or obtain qualifications including Working With Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, First Aid and CPR certifications.
