Qualified Support Worker - Ipswich role at Southern Cross Care. This is a permanent-part time position working with Community Services Teams across the Ipswich area.
About the roleAs a Support Worker, you will work closely with our Care Managers to deliver a personalised support service to our high care clients to ensure they live their best lives. Your genuine passion for the elderly to live their best lives motivates you to strive for the best outcomes for your clients, empowering them to achieve their individual goals and improve their quality of life.
What you will bring to the role- Certificate III in Disability, Aged Care, Individual Support, Home & Community Care or equivalent.
- Minimum two years\' experience in a support role.
- Sound manual handling knowledge.
- Exceptional people & interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and to manage your time effectively as you will be required to provide services to multiple clients a day.
- Availability to work varied shifts, including days, nights, and some weekends.
- A current Australian Driver\'s License.
- Own reliable car to use for work with full comprehensive car insurance and current registration (documents showing currency required).
