At Support Vehicles Australia, we are seeking a Certified Training and Competency Coordinator to join our team in Bassendean. This full-time, permanent role offers secure employment with a respected industry leader.

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Trainer who can collaborate with Senior Management, Supervisors, HR Lead, HSEQ Lead, and subject matter experts to identify training needs and objectives. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain training packages, including presentations, manuals, and online resources.

The Trainer will design and implement training programs tailored to meet company goals and employee development needs. They will ensure training content is relevant and complies with legislation and best practices. Additionally, the Trainer will investigate and develop external training platforms, liaise with external training providers, and assist workers with directions/requirements of Recognition of Prior learning.

The successful candidate will plan and schedule training sessions, including booking venues, gathering materials/equipment or travel arrangements as required. They will also investigate and report upcoming training requirements, including expiring certifications, and maintain a Training Register and Training Agreements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to present group training sessions. A passion for learning and the development of others is essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Solid understanding of safety principles and best practice is also required, with experience in a similar industry being highly regarded. The minimum qualification required is TAE40122 Cert IV in Training and Assessment, with additional qualifications such as Trade Certificate in Engineering (Fabrication/Mechanical Fitting) being an advantage.
