This role can be based between two locations: Prestons and Kemps Creek.

We are seeking an Operations Director to join our Retail and Consumer segment. In this key position, you will oversee the execution of logistics services at our warehouses, monitoring operations to ensure efficient resource utilization and operational efficiency. You will also promote quality customer service and safety standards through employee engagement.

This role involves managing the interim warehouse solution for major retail customers prior to transition to an alternate automated location.

A Day in the Life:

  • Efficiently manage and deliver warehouse logistics to customers.
  • Foster innovation by promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders to achieve collaborative relationships.
  • Review and report on budgets, expenditures, and financial compliance to meet customer expectations.
  • Implement people strategies to maintain a positive workplace culture and compliance.
  • Ensure a safe work environment meets organizational and regional standards.

What We're Looking For

  • Degree in Business Administration, Logistics Management, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years' experience in Logistics and Warehouse Management at a similar level.
  • Sets high performance standards, ensuring accountability and task completion.
  • Effectively communicates information and ideas to diverse stakeholders through various mediums.
  • Enhances employee experiences by providing timely feedback and fostering skill development.
  • Influences values, goals, and systems to create desired future states.
  • Available for 24/7 on-call duty.

You must be entitled to work in Australia and prepared to undertake pre-employment checks including a criminal history check and medical. An estimated salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum reflects your skills and experience.
