Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Document Management Specialist to join our Project Delivery Team in Tasmania, Australia. This role is responsible for ensuring the effective administration and governance of our PIMS web-based document collaboration platform and document control practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Document Flow: Process submission requests and distribute returns from our central Document Control inbox to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Ensure Compliance: Confirm the consistent and correct use of our Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), specifically Pims, in accordance with our processes and client requirements.
  • Drive Improvement: Proactively implement corrective actions to resolve non-compliance issues or improve workflow inefficiencies.
  • Support Stakeholders: Collaborate with internal teams to manage and support ongoing system enhancements.
  • Onboard New Hires: Train new employees on our document control procedures and systems.
Requirements
  • A natural collaborator with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and a commitment to seeing long-term projects through to completion.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
  • Experience with EDMS platforms such as Pims, Aconex, or InEight is highly advantageous.
