We are seeking a skilled engineer to design, develop and maintain control systems for our bulk sugar terminals. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a passion for automation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and program PLCs/HMIs using Schneider Unity Pro software.
  • Integrate PLCs, SCADA and HMI platforms for optimal performance.
  • Provide on-site/remote troubleshooting, commissioning and maintenance for automation systems.
  • Create electrical designs, single line diagrams, schematics and termination diagrams.
  • Train clients and liaise with suppliers to optimize equipment performance.
  • Contribute to research and development, data analysis and new equipment commissioning.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Experience in interpreting electrical schematics.
  • Proficiency in programming complete PLC systems.
  • Familiarity with Uticor HMI products.
  • Strong knowledge of Schneider hardware and software platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with AVEVA Citect SCADA systems.
  • Solid understanding of machine safety standards.
