The role of a VFX Production Coordinator is pivotal in ensuring the timely and successful delivery of projects. Coordinating closely with producers, supervisors, heads of department, and artists is crucial to achieving this goal.

Responsibilities:
  • Task Management: Manage and implement tasks and targets essential for project completion
  • Workflow Tracking: Track and manage workflow through the CG and 2D departments, meeting both internal and external deadlines
  • Daily Meetings: Organize daily meetings and take notes
  • Follow-up: Follow up on information shared during daily meetings to ensure timely execution
  • Communication: Communicate vital information effectively to crew members and other departments
  • Reporting: Submit daily reports to producers, supervisors, and production managers
  • Database Maintenance: Maintain an updated production database (Shotgun, Farmer Wife) with daily notes, bookings, and critical information
  • Issue Resolution: Anticipate and communicate potential issues to producers and supervisors to resolve problems efficiently
  • Clients Deliveries: Oversee client deliveries and ensure they meet the required standards
  • Team Collaboration: Encourage a positive, professional production environment and foster collaboration among team members
  • Additional Duties: Assist with additional duties as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Organization: Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple tasks and jobs
  • Communication: Effective communication and feedback skills
  • VFX Pipeline and Software Knowledge: Understanding of artistic and technical processes involved in VFX creation and relevant software
  • Resilience: Remaining calm under pressure and adapting to fast-paced environments
