We are CHOP SHOP POST PTY LTD, a leading post production studio in Australia specializing in end-to-end post-production workflows from editorial through to visual-effects, colour grade, online and sound design.

Employment Period: Long-term contract, with an immediate start.

Job-Type: Full-time, in office.

Location: Brisbane, Australia.

Salary: Negotiable with successful applicants, relative to experience and portfolio.

Overview

Apart of our Visual Effects department, you'll work closely with our Team and production partners in managing and completing post-production VFX for Feature Film, Television Series and TVCs.

The ideal applicant should have an in-depth understanding of the post-production process, as well as a strong knowledge of production, VFX workflow, artist management. Experience with Auto desk Shot Grid / Flo essential.

Responsibilities
  • Manage VFX artists and oversee workflow on Shots / Sequences.
  • Quoting and reconciling budgets and time allocations for projects.
  • Assisting VFX Supervisors in project management
  • Schedule and managing artists and resources to maximise quality and productivity of work
  • Overseeing the delivery of projects on schedule, on budget and to a high-standard
  • Working with clients and key stakeholders
Required Skills + Experience
  • Minimum 5+ years (or demonstrated equivalent) Producing or co-ordinating post-production VFX for live-action or digital film & television projects.
  • Proven ability to plan and manage productions
  • Demonstrated advanced relationship management and networking skills and the ability to establish effective relationships both internally and externally.
  • Technical and creative problem solving with a can-do mindset.
  • An ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment
  • Working knowledge of the VFX pipeline and entire post-production process, including interdepartmental dependencies is highly favoured.

Ideal candidate has strong organisational, management and client-facing skills.
