Strategic Operations Manager for Emerging Infectious Disease Defence
About the Role:- We support Australia's frontline defence against emerging infectious diseases in a state-of-the-art high-containment facility.
- You will play a key role in shaping strategy, governance, and coordination for a nationally significant research centre.
- You will join an impact-driven team shaping national biosecurity resilience.

Your Responsibilities:- Provide strategic advice and support to the Directorate on stakeholder and external interactions.
- You will independently formulate, coordinate & prepare responses to internal and external information requests, and reporting requirements.
- Analyse complex or ambiguous issues, develop appropriate responses, and make sound decisions under pressure or with limited information.
- You will coordinate internal and external reporting requirements, planning activities, and leadership meetings.
- Lead or manage sensitive projects aligned with our organisational strategy and research priorities. Support risk management and ensure accurate documentation and reporting.
- You will build collaborative relationships across teams and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders.
