As a leading force in Australia's International Freight Forwarding and Customs Brokerage, our client has established itself as an employer of choice. Due to expansion, an exciting opportunity has opened within their Export Perishable Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and coordinate the export process for perishable goods, including documentation, shipping, and regulatory compliance.
  • Handle compliance tasks such as fumigation and obtaining health certificates.
  • Arrange transportation with shipping lines, airlines, and the transport department for timely deliveries.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, agents, and internal teams.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE

  • At least 2 years of experience in freight forwarding.
  • Experience in export air or ocean freight and perishables (preferred).
  • Fumigation experience and certification.
  • Cargowise software (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
