The Role

As a Senior member of our consulting team, you will design and implement AWS-based solutions for migration of Oracle databases (12c and later) and other applications (WebLogic based), considering licensing, run cost, performance, and resilience constraints.

You will collaborate with your Cevo teammates, customer teams, and third-party support vendor teams to support and deliver successful workload migrations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing AWS-based solutions for database migration
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver successful migrations
  • Identifying opportunities for improvements to migrated workloads

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have;

  • Extensive experience with Oracle 12c and 19c databases as a DBA
  • Strong Consulting skills and customer-facing skill set
  • Ideal experience within a Cloud Team (specifically AWS)
  • Skills with Infrastructure as Code (eg Terraform, CloudFormation) and Configuration as Code (eg Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
