Occupational Therapist Role Overview

Support children to reach their full potential and enhance their development by working as an Occupational Therapist in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist children in developing fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and play skills that are essential for their growth.
  • Educate and involve parents, carers, and others in the child's development and learning process.
  • Help children with developmental delays perform everyday tasks like bathing, dressing, brushing teeth, and feeding themselves.
  • Collaborate with children who exhibit behavioral issues to promote positive behaviors in various settings.

Requirements:
  • A degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Eligibility for AHPRA registration upon graduating.
  • Graduated within the last 12 months or graduating in 2025.
  • A valid driver's license and access to your own vehicle with third party insurance.
  • A valid Working with Children Check, or be willing to obtain.
  • A current Police Check, or be willing to obtain.
  • NDIS Workers Screening Clearance, or be willing to obtain.
  • First Aid and CPR certification, or be willing to obtain.
