About the Role:This is a casual/ temporary role, providing flexible hours and requiring work rights. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in a restaurant or similar hospitality setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet guests with confidence and warmth to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and offer menu suggestions where needed.
- Communicate dietary requirements clearly to the kitchen and serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Set, maintain, and reset tables for smooth transitions between seatings and handle payments efficiently and complete closing procedures.
- Stay informed on daily specials and menu details to assist guest queries and maintain a tidy and organized section throughout service.
- Support fellow team members during busy periods to keep operations seamless.
- Assist in preparing and serving basic cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Restock bar supplies and keep the space clean and organized.
- Support the bartender during peak times or when short-staffed and follow RSA guidelines to ensure responsible service.
- Clear communication skills and attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and genuine passion for guest service.
- RSA certification and flexibility to support the bar when required.
