Automation Specialist

This position offers an exceptional opportunity to lead the future of industrial automation, driving innovative solutions across the Pacific Zone.
Key responsibilities include understanding project scope, assisting in project planning and task estimation, contributing to specifications and functional descriptions, implementing solutions/projects/services and developing documentation, ensuring compliance with quality procedures and managing individual priorities.
You will also perform onsite project work, report variations and risks, maintain technical skills and contribute to innovation and process improvement, manage customer expectations and relationships professionally, and comply with governance policies.
About You- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Computer Science, or Technology.
- Eligible for Engineers Australia membership (MIEAust, TIEAust, AIEAust, or Chartered).
- 4+ years of experience in industrial automation engineering and/or telemetry and/or information management system projects and/or services.
- Minimum 500 hours of customer/site experience.
- Advanced understanding of various industry platforms and a general understanding of the whole product offer, or equivalent competitor products.
- Sufficient domain experience to competently interpret process descriptions and develop technical designs.
Strong communication, time management, and organisational skills are essential, as well as the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
