Electrical Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to partner with our clients in delivering technical solutions to solve their business problems.

This position will be based out of our Melbourne office and will involve working on exciting projects throughout Australia.

The successful candidate will have technical design and project management experience, undertaking projects for and on heavy industrial sites as well as Food and Lifesciences, and water sites.

You will be highly organised with effective communication skills and the ability to work within a larger project team to develop good engineering outcomes for the business and our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work across various electrical systems and equipment including instrumentation and control system applications.
  • Design and development of instrumentation and electrical systems including single-line diagrams; motor starter drawings; electrical layouts; instrument loop diagrams; cable schedules; PLC I/O schedules.
  • Project Management procurement and commissioning for existing and greenfield systems.
  • Scope/requirements definition and procurement of equipment software and installation work.
  • Detailed design contractual report writing & Construction related services.
  • Learning client's processes to gain an understanding of our client's business across a wide range of industries.
  • Build strong customer relationships demonstrating your ability to understand our client's core business and ensure that services meet their expectations.
  • Demonstrate your ability and passion for providing technical advice and project management capabilities while embracing a culture that values teamwork.
  • Provide implementation phase support including contractor supervision progress monitoring schedule reviews contract management minor procurement assistance and expediting.
