About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled System Specialist, Loyalty to join our Technology team at Virgin Australia. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for providing end-to-end functional expertise of loyalty systems and acting as a conduit between the business and technology support teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise and support for loyalty systems, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technology requirements and solutions.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of loyalty technology and associated end-to-end processes.
  • Work closely with technology support teams to identify and resolve complex issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant product changes and share new information with users, including impact assessments of change requests or enhancements.
  • Lead small enhancement initiatives from understanding business needs to coordinating delivery of solutions.
  • Contribute to larger technology projects, ensuring technology solutions meet business needs and consider division's end-to-end systems and processes.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Information Systems or equivalent experience in a similar role.
  • At least 2 years' experience as a Systems Analyst/Systems Specialist/Platform Owner/Platform Analyst (or similar role).
  • Demonstrated experience in understanding and analyzing business issues and translating them into business requirements and technology solutions.
  • Experience supporting loyalty systems in a large organization.
  • Track record of identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and delivering effective change.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, encompassing user and management levels, including vendors.
