Inventory Management Specialist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to oversee inventory management operations across multiple locations.


About the Role:

This position is responsible for managing all aspects of inventory within our system. You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to establish objectives and optimize inventory levels, ensuring seamless supply chain operations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with teams to plan and develop required inventory levels at different locations.
  • Manage multi-location inventory in accordance with inventory cycles, working closely with teams to ensure inventory needs are met.
  • Implement effective inventory control procedures.
  • Conduct regular inventory analysis to identify and resolve inventory issues.
  • Coordinate annual physical inventory checks.
  • Monitor performance relative to inventory management and expense control.
  • Optimize inventory levels and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and efficiency.
  • Investigate problem orders, receiving, and inventory issues.

Requirements:
  • Three to five years of experience in inventory management.
  • Two or more years of direct supervisory experience.
  • Proven ability to organize work, set priorities, and achieve objectives.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to delegate effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively and professionally.
  • Experience in working with inventory management systems.
  • Possesses knowledge of productivity applications.
  • Completion of a professional designation in supply chain management is an asset.
  • Able to travel locally and internationally if required.
