We are seeking a skilled Capital Program Officer to manage and coordinate the Capital Expenditure Program and Budget in collaboration with Councillors, Directors, and Managers. This dynamic role involves governance and reporting, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports while supporting annual financial reporting requirements.
  • Provide induction and ongoing support to staff members involved in capital works delivery.
  • Manage the chart of accounts, creating new projects and ensuring expenditure is appropriately categorized.
  • Utilize interpersonal skills and influence strategies to gain commitment to new work processes.


Job Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a public sector organization.
  • Strong MS Excel skills, including knowledge of Macro functions.
  • Proven project budgeting and finance administration capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience in stakeholder management.
