About the Role

The Corporate Service Division of the Department of Education and Training of Australia contributes to aviation safety by enhancing CASA's capability, capacity and service delivery. As a Team Leader in our People and Capability Branch, you will play a critical role in guiding and managing teams responsible for analysing and interpreting workforce data to provide valuable insights and strategic recommendations.

Our Teams are responsible for human resource functions, including workforce planning, regulatory and technical training and professional development, governance oversight and coordination across the organisation, managing productive working relationships with government agencies, information technology services, business improvement and change management, and portfolio management and service delivery transformation program.

You will be working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure CASA has effective workforce strategies in place to address its workforce challenges. This involves providing high-level policy advice, engaging in complex problem solving and issues management, reviewing, interpreting, analysing and reporting CASA's workforce metrics and related commentary for relevant HR reporting requirements.

We are seeking experienced professionals who can lead and manage small teams, develop and implement policies and procedures, and work collaboratively with others to achieve our organisational goals.
