Job Title

Nursing Opportunities Available

  We are seeking experienced nurses to join our team in a residential aged care home. As a nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to residents and working collaboratively with the care team.

Responsibilities
  • \
  • Provide direct clinical nursing care to residents, adhering to best practice procedures.\
  • Act as a team leader, providing coaching, supervision, and guidance to personal care staff.\
  • Work safely to protect yourself, colleagues, and residents by closely following all policies and procedures.\
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.\
  • Contribute to the development of care plans that meet the individual needs of residents.\
  • Monitor and report any changes in resident condition or concerns to the Care Manager.\
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.\
  • Comply with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures to ensure quality care is provided at all times.
Requirements
  • \
  • Current AHPRA registration after completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar qualification.\
  • A thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards.\
  • Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes.\
  • Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues.\
  • Strong coaching/training skills.\
  • Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence.\
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.\
  • Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance.
