Job Description

As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate support to clients in their own homes, helping them maintain independence and live with dignity. You will assist with daily living tasks, offer emotional support, and provide meaningful companionship.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Domestic Assistance: Support with household chores such as washing, ironing, vacuuming, and dusting.
  • Meal Preparation: Assist with planning, preparing, and cooking meals.
  • Personal Care Support: Help with showering, dressing, grooming, and other personal hygiene needs.
  • Social Engagement: Provide companionship and encourage participation in social activities and community engagement.
  • Transport Services: Offer transport for appointments, shopping trips, and social outings.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Valid NSW Driver's Licence
  • Reliable NSW C Class Motor Vehicle for travel between customer locations
  • Current accredited First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations (highly recommended)
  • Basic computer and smartphone literacy
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in Home Care or Disability Support
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Aging, Home, and Community)
