Job Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced nurse to provide high-quality care to residents with nursing and mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and accountability as the nurse in charge, ensuring optimum care for residents through effective communication and teamwork.
- Administer medication, manage stock, conduct CD checks, and escalate medication changes or concerns to pharmacy teams/home management teams.
- Manage wound care, venepuncture, stoma care, end-of-life care, IV medications, and daily documentation of actions and communications on the e-plan.
- Be aware of each service user's needs, communicate with families, outside agencies, and multi-disciplinary teams to provide the best outcomes for residents.
- A valid NMC PIN with no restrictions to work.
- NMC Registered.
- The ability to assess care needs and produce care plans that reflect residents' needs and wishes is essential.
- Basic IT skills required for electronic care planning and medication systems.
