**Linux Infrastructure Engineer Role**

At our organisation, we are seeking a talented Linux Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in building cyber-resilient and integrated Linux infrastructure.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing Linux servers and virtualised systems within hyper-converged and distributed infrastructure. They will also possess proficiency in key technologies and tools such as Ansible, GitLab, YUM and RHEL, and strong documentation experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing Secure Operating Systems: Develop, build and implement secure and reliable Linux operating systems that meet the highest standards of resilience and compliance.
  • System Integration: Integrate ICT infrastructure, applications and services with Linux-based platforms to enable seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Issue Resolution: Analyse, log and resolve complex issues related to Linux Standard Operating Environments (SOEs) and business application integration.
  • Security Hardening: Apply security hardening practices to enhance the resilience and compliance of Linux servers.
  • Research and Development: Conduct research and evaluate emerging technologies and tools relevant to Linux environments.
