Job Overview

This position entails overseeing the safe and efficient dismantling and removal of a Tunnel Boring Machine. The role requires robust knowledge of TBM systems, experience in high-risk construction activities, and proven leadership skills.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the demobilisation of the TBM, including dismantling, removal, and transportation of equipment.
  • Supervise on-site crews and subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to specification.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards throughout the demobilisation process.
  • Collaborate with engineering, logistics, and procurement teams to plan demobilisation activities efficiently.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Supervisor on TBM projects, with a focus on demobilisation or mechanical systems.
  • Strong understanding of TBM systems (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic) and tunnelling operations.
  • Leadership skills with ability to manage teams and subcontractors in a dynamic environment.
  • Solid knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in tunnelling and construction.
Working Environment:

This role involves working in high-pressure environments and meeting tight deadlines.

Essential Qualifications:
  • White Card, Confined Space, and Working at Heights tickets are essential.
