Talent professionals play a pivotal role in the success of our organization. As a Talent Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing and recruiting top talent to drive business growth.

Our team supports Axiom's talent experience, and we are seeking an individual who can help us identify, attract, and retain exceptional legal professionals. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to develop strategic plans that meet client demands and provide guidance to ensure a seamless match between our legal talent and client opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the skills, practice areas, and industry experience within the legal profession. They will possess excellent interviewing capabilities, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition
    • Source and recruit industry-leading talent through direct sourcing, market research, and relationship management.
    • Evaluate attorney candidates using professional judgment and work collaboratively with the team to make informed hiring decisions.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidate correspondence and ensure timely communication.
    • Partner with the commercial team to manage lawyer hiring strategies and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Talent Management
    • Provide exceptional service to a group of legal professionals, ensuring a best-in-class lawyer and client experience.
    • Identify relevant talent to fulfill client opportunities and collaborate with the Sales team to close engagements.
    • Develop a deep understanding of the skills and practice areas within specific legal domains, including being an authority on the state of the legal profession.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience within a recruiting agency or in-house for a company.
  • Strong interviewing capabilities, with the ability to assess candidate skills and suitability efficiently and quickly.
  • Deep sense of urgency and pace to ensure matching of our legal talent with the right client opportunities.
  • Poise, confidence, and gravitas to interact with highly experienced legal professionals.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, organize multiple tasks simultaneously, adapt quickly to changes, and creatively problem-solve.
