">Cross River Rail is a transformative project that will revolutionize the way we travel in Brisbane and beyond. As a Principal Accessibility Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that this infrastructure is inclusive and accessible to all.
">About the Project
">Cross River Rail is a 10.2km rail line that includes 5.9km of twin tunnels running under the Brisbane River and CBD. It features four new underground stations, two above-ground stations, accessibility rebuilds for six stations, and three new stations on the Gold Coast. This project is not only a catalyst for rail transformation across South East Queensland but also a key component of Brisbane's transport network.
">Your Role
">As the Principal Accessibility Advisor, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of the CRRDA Accessibility Plan. This involves developing and delivering best practice accessibility stakeholder engagement strategies, managing internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with relevant Disability Discrimination Legislation and Standards.

- Plan, research, draft, and deliver accessibility stakeholder engagement strategies;">
- Lead the planning and facilitation of monthly Accessibility Reference Groups and working group discussions;">
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including disability organizations;">
- Facilitate the provision of specialist advice on compliance with relevant Disability Discrimination Legislation and Standards;">
- Manage all accessibility components of station readiness through openings, closures, and track closures;">
- Develop communication collateral, detailed reports, evaluation, and lessons learned documentation;">
- Develop and deliver the Accessibility Education Program activities and initiatives;">
- Manage project reporting to track progress and risks regarding accessibility.">

About You
">We are seeking an individual with a proven track record in high-level stakeholder management, delivering customer-focused outcomes, ideally in a multi-agency environment. You should have expertise in internal and external communications and engagement, as supported by relevant qualification or equivalent professional experience.
">The ideal candidate will be able to independently plan and manage tasks and projects to completion, meeting organizational expectations of quality and timeliness. You will also have the ability to communicate clearly with senior internal and external stakeholders, leveraging connections to drive collaborative service delivery.
