Role Overview:
The EHSQ Coordinator is responsible for providing expert guidance and support in the management of health, safety, environment, and training systems. Key responsibilities include oversight of day-to-day implementation of health and safety protocols, development and promotion of safety initiatives, cultivation of a positive and consistent WHS culture, and reduction of injury frequency.
Responsibilities:
- Oversight of day-to-day implementation of health and safety protocols at the facility
- Development and promotion of safety initiatives to foster a positive and consistent WHS culture
- Cultivation of a strong WHS culture across the site by identifying and addressing potential hazards
- Reduction of injury frequency through proactive measures
- Providing advice and assistance to team leaders, managers, and employees on all WHS-related matters, promptly reporting hazards as they arise
- Identifying corrective and preventive actions, coordinating action and review plans, and ensuring compliance with ISO standards
Requirements:
We are seeking an individual with a Cert IV in WHSQ; or 3 years plus experience in manufacturing/mining/construction industry. Required skills include strong safety, quality, and training background with experience in a similar position and sound knowledge of WHS requirements, legislation, and compliance.
