We are seeking a highly skilled professional to contribute to our high-performing team at Biosecurity Queensland.
- This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
The successful candidate will provide guidance to new colleagues, undertake risk-based decision making, and support the development of capabilities and preparedness in protecting Queensland against biosecurity risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice and assistance to local stakeholders relating to biosecurity emergency responses.
- Contribute positively to group tasks and provide guidance to new/inexperienced colleagues.
- Support the development of capabilities and preparedness in protecting Queensland against biosecurity risks.
- Undertake risk-based decision making within all activities, including associated documentation/record keeping.
Requirements:
- Dedication to protecting and enhancing the Queensland biosecurity system.
- Ability to manage own work priorities and meet team deliverables.
- Active contribution as a member of a high-performing team.
