Casual Scientific/Technical Officer, Simulation

The Faculty of Health is establishing a pool of casual technical/scientific officers to support learning and teaching across the nursing and paramedicine disciplines.

Successful applicants will have the following key attributes:

  • A Bachelor degree in an area relevant to nursing or paramedicine, or an Associate Diploma level qualification with at least two years subsequent relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience, education, or training
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team using excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication
  • Capacity to effectively organise and prioritise work to meet deadlines and competing priorities
  • Well-developed problem solving skills including contributing to continuous improvement
  • High-level digital literacy skills, including Microsoft Office and relevant equipment specific software, or the ability to quickly acquire these skills

Selected applicants will be contacted by the team leader and provided with a casual contract. Your resume will remain on file for 12 months.
