Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join a leading multinational consumer goods organization. This role offers a unique blend of data analysis, business collaboration, and commercial insights.

Contract Details

  • 6-month contract
  • Flexible work arrangement: 2 days remote, 3 days in-office
  • Competitive salary range: $110K - $120K + Superannuation

Key Responsibilities

As a Financial Analyst, your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities, including:

  • Managing and analyzing sales data, ensuring accuracy and reliability in reporting
  • Supporting the budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Providing analytical support to Marketing and Sales teams
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders across various departments
  • Generating daily and monthly sales reports
  • Enhancing reporting capabilities through Business Intelligence tools
  • Analyzing processes related to claims and discounts
  • Participating in process improvement initiatives and ad-hoc reporting tasks

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A proactive mindset with the ability to adapt to changing business needs
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and analyzing large datasets
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data trends
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel, with experience in financial modeling
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a positive attitude
  • A genuine interest in understanding the underlying factors behind financial data
