About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Finance Analyst to join our team at Goodman Fielder. As a key member of our Commercial Finance team, you will provide financial support to our National Retail Sales, Food Service Sales & Marketing teams to drive long-term growth & profitability in the Cake Mix Category.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain financial models, reports, and tools to support business decisions.
  • Analyze and manage marketing and trade spend to ensure alignment with business expectations.
  • Oversee financial performance by reviewing forecasts, ensuring month-end financial integrity, and providing insightful commentary.
  • Partner with the business to analyze profitability, measure performance, and manage pricing requests.
About You
  • Proven experience in Commercial Finance Analyst roles in fast-paced commercial environments, preferably in FMCG.
  • Strong financial acumen with excellent analysis, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Proactive and able to work independently and collaboratively, managing competing deadlines.
  • Customer-focused with the ability to make informed recommendations and prioritize sales-oriented solutions.
  • Proficient in Excel, including Macros, Conditional Sum, and Power Pivot tables.
  • Strong systems skills, including Business Intelligence, Data mining tools, SAP, BW, and reporting tools.
