Procurement Expert Wanted

This is a 3-month contract role with the possibility of extension, offering a competitive daily rate and flexible working conditions - 2/3 days in the office per week. You will be part of a small team supporting three Procurement Managers, working across various categories, including IT, construction, and Indirects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing support and direction to the business on how to procure goods and services.
  • Review consultancy agreements and work orders.
  • Offer day-to-day procurement support to the Procurement Managers.
  • Negotiate and finalise terms of supplier agreements.
  • Develop, manage and maintain professional relationships.
  • Collaborate effectively with key internal stakeholders.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven procurement support experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in identifying and delivering commercial opportunities.
  • Strong supplier management and engagement skills.
  • Effective negotiation skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Previous experience with Oracle would be advantageous but not critical.
