
Aerospace Assurance Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned assurance professional to lead complex business assurance assessments and recommend certification or validation against industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough business assurance evaluations within designated areas of expertise, adhering to current procedures.
- Lead multi-disciplinary assessment teams effectively, ensuring timely completion and coordination of team findings.
- Produce high-quality assessment reports that reflect business assurance principles, aligning with accreditation requirements and internal procedures.
- Foster strong relationships with clients by discussing additional services and promoting higher-value offerings.
- Maintain open communication with internal stakeholders, escalating issues as necessary.
- Identify sales opportunities and pass leads to colleagues for follow-up.
- Promote client feedback and insights to initiate improvement projects.
- Stay up-to-date on technical developments in your area of expertise, maintaining CPD records and updating professional registrations.
- Supervise and coach new auditors, recommending authorisation and further development activities.
- Participate in auditor meetings, developing materials and presenting on topics related to your area of expertise.
Requirements:
- Aerospace auditor qualifications
- Certification to audit against multiple major standards or sector schemes
- Understanding of relevant legal and regulatory frameworks
- Substantial experience in third-party auditing and system-level auditing
- Experience in managing complex technical projects
- Familiarity with MS products and services
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
