Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned assurance professional to lead complex business assurance assessments and recommend certification or validation against industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough business assurance evaluations within designated areas of expertise, adhering to current procedures.
  • Lead multi-disciplinary assessment teams effectively, ensuring timely completion and coordination of team findings.
  • Produce high-quality assessment reports that reflect business assurance principles, aligning with accreditation requirements and internal procedures.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients by discussing additional services and promoting higher-value offerings.
  • Maintain open communication with internal stakeholders, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Identify sales opportunities and pass leads to colleagues for follow-up.
  • Promote client feedback and insights to initiate improvement projects.
  • Stay up-to-date on technical developments in your area of expertise, maintaining CPD records and updating professional registrations.
  • Supervise and coach new auditors, recommending authorisation and further development activities.
  • Participate in auditor meetings, developing materials and presenting on topics related to your area of expertise.

Requirements:

  • Aerospace auditor qualifications
  • Certification to audit against multiple major standards or sector schemes
  • Understanding of relevant legal and regulatory frameworks
  • Substantial experience in third-party auditing and system-level auditing
  • Experience in managing complex technical projects
  • Familiarity with MS products and services
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
