Job Description:

Our organization seeks an experienced professional to fill the role of Accountant (Payroll Accountant). The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing monthly financial reports, analyzing and commenting on variances, reconciling balance sheets, creating cash forecasts, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, specifically in payroll accounting, and experience working with complex organizations. They must be able to execute transactions such as bookkeeping, reconciliations, and settlements according to prescribed guidelines and timelines. Additionally, they should be skilled in dealing directly with clients and providing solutions to complex queries.

As part of this role, the Accountant (Payroll Accountant) will support the Team Lead in training, daily reviews, and escalation resolution. They will also be responsible for conducting quality checks and quality analysis programs, knowledge management based on inputs from different stakeholders, participation in ideation and reengineering of client processes, and training on the same.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of BPO/Shared Service experience
  • 18-24 months of recent working knowledge on Management Accounting, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and general ledger management
  • Preference given to individuals with public sector experience
