About the Role
  • Utilize your technical skills to perform a full range of Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT examinations, ensuring exceptional patient care and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with senior technologists to provide guidance and support in maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Prepare, handle, and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely, adhering to strict protocols and regulations.
  • Develop strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest radiation safety practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Applied Science/Medical Radiations in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent degree is required.
  • Current Medical Radiation Practitioner registration with AHPRA to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist is essential.
  • A valid Radiation use licence issued by the Department of Health is necessary.
  • The ability to perform diagnostic CT within the hybrid imaging environment is highly desirable.
  • Eligibility for accreditation by the Australian and New Zealand Society of Nuclear Medicine (ANZSNM) is a requirement.
  • A current National criminal history check is mandatory.
