Job Overview

Neara is a high-growth technology company that has developed a software platform for building sophisticated 3D digital models of critical infrastructure.

The platform delivers solutions across the entire asset life cycle, from design and construction to asset management and maintenance.

We are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to drive digitisation of real-world infrastructure using machine learning models.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop approaches to generate accurate electric networks from imperfect data using deep learning and classical ML algorithms.
  • Develop and optimise training pipelines to reduce toil and idea-to-evaluation time.
  • Scale the serving of models for different problems with different characteristics while reducing time from the first model to production.
  • Improve the speed of model QA and identify data and distribution drift in the models.
  • Work with various data sources, including LiDAR, aerial photography, photogrammetry & GIS, and build scalable data pipelines to support training and serving.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Demonstrated experience with Machine Learning and Deep Learning.
  • Strong foundation in software engineering.
  • Proficiency in frameworks like PyTorch/Tensorflow/Jax.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills as applied to new domains.
  • Ability to work effectively asynchronously and cross-functionally on ill-defined problems.
