**Infrastructure Lead (Monitoring) - Competitive Salary + Remote (Ideally somewhere Sydney or NSW based)**

**The Role.**

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the infrastructure with a focus around monitoring. You will work closely with the development, operations, and data teams to ensure the stability, scalability, and performance of the infrastructure, monitoring and visualisation platform.
- Design, develop and maintain dashboards and panels to support the monitoring and visualisation
- Collaborate with our development, operations, and data teams to identify and address data inconsistencies, performance bottlenecks, and other issues
- Configure alerts, notifications, and other monitoring features to ensure timely and effective responses to critical incidents
- Maintain and update our monitoring infrastructure, including version upgrades, security patches, and performance tuning
- Develop custom plugins and integrations to extend our monitoring tool capabilities
- Develop and maintain documentation and training materials for the platform
- Optimise queries and visualisations to ensure fast and reliable performance

**Ideal Experience.**
- Strong infrastructure knowledge (Windows, Azure, VMware, Cisco, Forti etc)
- Solid Grafana development and administration (or similar tools)
- Experience with plugins and integrations, including data sources - Prometheus, InfluxDB & Elasticsearch etc
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Ansible, Terraform or Puppet
- Strong knowledge of data visualisation best practices and techniques
- Good experience with query languages such as PromQL and SQL
- Familiarity with Linux systems and command-line tools
