Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Event Coordinator to join our team. As the world's largest family of luxury hotels, we take great pride in being genuine ambassadors of our brand.

Nestled in the heart of Brisbane's CBD, our hotel will offer 321 spacious rooms and suites, all day dining restaurant and lobby bar, outdoor pool, fitness centre and Club Lounge, all in a prime location above Queen Street Mall.

We have over 1800 square metres of meeting and events spaces, including a Grand Ballroom catering for up to 1000 guests, making us a great choice for business and leisure events alike.

As an Event Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in administering and organizing events sales and planning, ensuring a high-end experience for our guests.

  • Prepare Weekly Events Forecast and seize upselling opportunities
  • Ensure timely follow-up and pursuit of strategic relationships with customers and stakeholders to drive guest satisfaction
  • Deliver Master Invoices to customers and facilitate payment
  • Work closely with Reservations, Sales & Marketing, and F&B departments to consolidate and reconcile accounts
  • Consult with meeting planners to identify optimal meeting room configuration and menu planning
  • Provide immediate assistance to customers as point-of-contact to ensure their needs are met quickly and their event runs smoothly

We require exceptional organization, time management and attention to detail, along with high-level written and verbal communication skills.
