The Australian Public Service Commission is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager, People and Culture, EL1 to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that program activities align with our strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Alignment: Work closely with our leadership team to align program operations with our overall Torres Strait Development Plan. Monitor and report on key performance indicators, ensuring that our program plans, budgets, and outputs are on track.
- Leadership and Advice: Provide high-level support and guidance to our CEO, Program Manager, and Board, as well as assist in the management of our Environmental Management Program as required.
- Strategic Planning and Policy Development: Contribute to the development of strategic plans, policies, and projects related to our people and culture initiatives.
- Communication and Representation: Prepare and disseminate briefing papers, reports, project schedules, and other written documents to internal and external stakeholders. Represent our organization at stakeholder meetings and events, building relationships with key partners and community organizations.
- Team Leadership and Development: Provide leadership and guidance to our Senior Project Officers and Project Officers, monitoring their performance and supporting their professional development. Participate in recruitment and selection processes for our team members.
- Other Responsibilities: Undertake other policy-related projects, tasks, and activities as directed by our Program Manager.
