Job Title: Clinical Director Anaesthesia

The Clinical Director of Anaesthesia plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional care and shaping the delivery of services across the facility. They are responsible for leading, inspiring, and fostering excellence in clinical outcomes, scholarship, and staff development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the Anaesthesia department to ensure high-quality patient care and optimal clinical outcomes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve clinical performance, patient satisfaction, and staff engagement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to junior staff members.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices in Anaesthesia.
Requirements:
  • MBBS or equivalent eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Registration or eligibility for registration as a Specialist in Anaesthesia with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Authority (AHPRA).
  • Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA).
  • Enrolment and maintenance of ongoing CME program with the appropriate bodies.
