Job Title: Chef De Partie

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Chef De Partie to join our team at AccorHotel. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for supporting the Executive Chef in food preparation, ordering, and team development to meet lounge standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Executive Chef in food preparation, ordering, and team development to meet lounge standards.
  • Ensure strict stock rotation and minimum wastage. Have stock control procedures implemented and maintained.
  • Work with and coordinate the work of apprentices in preparing and producing food as required.
  • Assist with managing team members - performance and leading by example.
  • Responsibility for your designated area, as well as anticipation of guests needs.
  • Prepare and present with flair all menu items for buffet, a la carte and tray service as required to Lounge standards and within budget controls.
  • Ensure Food safety standards are met in all stages of the food cycle—delivery, storage, preparation, cookery, service, and rotation.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in the same or similar position.
  • Completed a trade qualification certificate.
  • Managed/lead a team of 15 team members or more.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • MUST have full working rights within Australia.
  • Ability to pass a federal police background security check.

Working Conditions: You will be engaged to work under the Hospitality Industry (General) Award [MA000009].

Additional Information: Successful applicants will be required to undergo a Federal Police check at their own cost (Will be reimbursed once approved) in order to gain ASIC certification.
