Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing data strategies that meet the organization's needs.


About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the development of innovative solutions. The Data Architect will be responsible for:

  • Designing data models to support data transformation and analytics;
  • Integrating disparate data models into a unified platform;
  • Developing database design and architecture documentation;
  • Driving standardization in data transformation and analytic logic;
  • Identifying inconsistencies in data definitions and reconciling them;
  • Developing a corporate data library and metadata repository;

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling and management principles, as well as excellent communication and documentation skills. They will also be able to work collaboratively with business stakeholders, operations teams, and engineering teams.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field;
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Data Modeler/Data Architect;
  • Experience with AWS services such as S3, EMR, EC2, and Amazon RedShift;
  • Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies;
  • Ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams;
  • Strong customer and business focus;
