Financial Modelling Expertise

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Modelling Specialist to join our team and contribute to the creation of comprehensive financial models that support strategic decision-making.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and refining assumptions, parameters, and scenarios under the guidance of Managers to ensure model robustness and reliability. They will also discuss commercial issues with clients and ensure they are accurately reflected in the model.

To succeed in this role, you will need to perform sensitivity analysis and stress testing to validate model assumptions and outputs, aiding clients in making informed decisions. Additionally, you will contribute to the development and enhancement of our financial modelling methodologies and tools, driving continuous improvement and innovation.

You will maintain meticulous records of modeling processes and methodologies to uphold our high standards and ensure consistency. Furthermore, you will assist in developing project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.

Key Qualifications
  • Relevant experience in a financial role within a recognized advisory practice or large corporate setting (2-4 years)
  • A good appreciation of accounting concepts and an accounting qualification is beneficial
  • A good understanding of Project Finance, Corporate Finance or Financial Planning concepts
  • Strong analytical skills with a foundation in building and operating financial models using Excel
  • Degree qualified in a numerate discipline, with a postgraduate qualification in accounting or finance beneficial
  • Experience with the FAST financial modeling standard is desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
