Job Overview

The role of a Senior Commercial Leader involves driving strategic initiatives that deliver value and align with corporate objectives, risk appetite, and market opportunities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and implement commercial strategies to ensure value, compliance, and strong stakeholder outcomes.
  • Develop fit-for-purpose commercial strategies and contract models.
  • Advise senior leadership on risks and opportunities.
  • E nsure compliance with laws, policies, and risk frameworks.
  • Analyse markets to inform decisions and identify trends.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Resolve contract issues through collaborative approaches.
  • Develop governance frameworks and track commercial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire high-performing teams.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Law, or Project Management.
  • Highly developed leadership skills with the ability to foster collaboration across functions.
  • A customer-centric approach combined with commercial acumen and the capacity to consider decision optics.
  • A strategic problem solver able to respectfully challenge internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong experience negotiating partnerships, alliances, suppliers & contracts.
  • Proven experience in strategic sourcing across diverse categories.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities without losing momentum.
  • Ability to work in highly regulated environments with high probity and oversight.
