Sg Fleet Australia Pty Ltd is a leading financial services company that specializes in fleet management, vehicle leasing, and salary packaging. As a Financial Operations Assistant, you will play a key supporting role in helping our Financial Control team provide financial information to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Process finance rentals, terminations, and final settlements transactions to various financiers within the lease portfolio and other 3rd party payments.
- Process urgent funding requests.
- Review, correct, and communicate daily New Business Applications to relevant financiers.
- Analyze and investigate discrepancies between SG Fleet systems and financier systems, including arrears investigations and resolving in-live system data errors related to the Financial make-up of a lease.
- Update financiers on lease changes, including restructures and extensions.
- Liaise with internal parties and financier contacts to resolve errors or complete transactions as required.
- Reconcile suspense GL accounts as appropriate.
- Prepare month-end BS reconciliation reports.
- Assist with specific projects, staff training, and process improvements related to funded lease transaction accuracy and reconciliation.
- Previous reconciliations or General Ledger experience.
- Ability to solve problems and follow through to complete resolution.
- Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills, with experience in working with spreadsheets and providing analysis on trends and movements.
- Ability to work with multiple systems.
- Proven customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with an ability to prioritize.
- Strong technical/numerical skills and knowledge, and is thorough and accurate.
- Experience in Financial/Management Accounting, part-CPA/CA.
- Experience with leasing products or Banking Industry.
- Analytical skills on financial or management reports, and a desire for continuous process improvements to gain better efficiency.
