About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Analyst to join our Private Equity and Alternatives Operations team at Insignia Financial. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the Manager, Private Equity Operations with the delivery of daily business-as-usual (BAU) operations as well as strategic initiatives for Private Equity/Alternatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and support the coordination of all core processes, including capital calls, distributions, subscriptions, redemptions, and transfer of units.
  • Review and analyze documentation received in relation to investments prior to processing/payment.
  • Reconcile assets and market valuations.
  • Calculate and report monthly portfolio returns.
  • Assist in the onboarding of new assets, including system setup, review of documentation, and liaison with internal and external stakeholders/counterparties.
  • Participate in Research House meetings.
  • Conduct portfolio analysis and modeling to assist with portfolio decision-making.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries (directly and indirectly).
  • Provide technical support for the PE Operations and PE Investment team.
  • Coordinate and participate in Operational Due Diligence activities.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in investments/asset management/finance, with a minimum of 2-3 years in Private Equity operations.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong team player.
  • Experience in LP Analyst and Investran is highly regarded.
  • Good modeling skills with a passion for data/intelligence.
  • Adaptable and innovative.
  • Resilient and determined.
