About the Role

The Australian Defence Force is seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to join our team as Electrical and Mechanical Officers in the Royal Australian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (RAEME) corps.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain the Australian Army's modern military equipment
  • Plan and execute maintenance activities for a Brigade
  • Work as a staff officer, logistics planner, and instructor
  • Develop and implement strategies for equipment maintenance and management
Entry Types

There are two types of entry for the Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Officer:

  • Royal Military College – Duntroon
  • Australian Defence Force Academy
What You'll Do

As an Electrical and Mechanical Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of specialists in maintaining and modifying military equipment
  • Developing and implementing maintenance plans and strategies
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance to junior personnel
  • Collaborating with other teams to achieve maintenance and logistics goals
Requirements
